This is a very nice example of a Swedish Ericsson bakelite phone. Unfortunately, when it came to me, this phone was badly damaged electrically, but the case was in very nice condition. As that was the case, I have removed the internals and replaced them with a 700 series circuit, to make it more compatible with British phone sockets. The dial and bells are original, so it will sound original. I have also replaced the receiver and transmitter insets with modern equivalents. In short, this phone has been completely internally rebuilt, but externally retains the original bakelite. The ONLY minor negative point of the case, is that the number label holder is missing and hence 2 small holes on the front have been filled with epoxy.

This telephone has been carefully cleaned, polished to a shine and checked for correct operation and dial speed.

The rubber feet are perished and the base is slightly rusty, so I have included a photo of the base to show this.

This phone should work with any normal BT landline, and most NTL and alternative suppliers. However, if you are a customer of one of the smaller suppliers, it is worth checking that their network supports “Pulse” or “Loop disconnect” dialling.
Even if on a network that doesn’t support it, this phone will ring for incoming calls with the lovely traditional bell ring.
Please note, I ship to the United Kingdom only on this item, (except by prior arrangement) and will dispatch goods on receipt of cleared payment.
